Chiropractic care is safe, non-invasive and healthy! Chiropractors treat a variety of conditions, so you can feel better quickly after an accident or injury. Many people fail to understand the true benefits of chiropractic care. Is chiropractic care safe?

Chiropractic treatments are safe and gentle! Spinal adjustments are an all-natural method that is designed to relieve patient pain. In addition to spinal adjustment, chiropractors give practical suggestions and lifestyle advice that can help patients recover from injuries and stay healthy over many years.

Who can see a chiropractor?

Everyone can see a chiropractor! Chiropractors can treat patients of all ages, from very young children to elderly seniors. Some chiropractors specialize in treating specific patient groups, like children or pregnant women, however, all chiropractors can treat all patient sub-groups.

The patients who most benefit from chiropractic care are those who suffer from conditions such as musculoskeletal disorders, personal injuries, headaches, whiplash, sciatica, allergies and more. By using a whole-body approach to medical treatment, chiropractors can restore function to the body and can prevent future problems from occurring.

What are the benefits and advantages of chiropractic care?

Chiropractic care has many benefits and advantages! For example:

  • All natural. Chiropractic care is completely non-invasive, so patients don't have to deal with long or painful recovery periods. In fact, chiropractic care allows many patients to go about their normal lives as they recover.

  • No medications. Chiropractors don't prescribe medications. Chiropractors use a variety of methods to treat patient pain without the use of medications, which can make patients groggy or can encourage addiction.

  • Chiropractic care improves communication between the brain and the rest of the body. By improving the function of the central nervous system, chiropractors help boost the immune system and help patients avoid illnesses.

Do you have to have a referral from your doctor to see a chiropractor?

You can see a chiropractor any time without referral from a doctor. However, if your health insurance covers chiropractic care, your insurance company may require you to see a physician first. Talk to your insurance company to find out if you need a referral in order to see a chiropractor.

What is a spinal adjustment?

Spinal adjustment is an adjustment to the vertebrae of the spine. Spinal adjustment can be done by hand or with specialized tools. This technique is performed on patients suffering from a variety of conditions, and can be used to heal back pain, prevent illness and treat medical problems. Spinal adjustment is safe, gentle and pain-free. Spinal adjustment is used to help patients manage their pain, correct problems with posture, treat illnesses and speed injury recovery times.
