Dr. Nichols has been freeing people from pain and enhancing the quality of his patient's lives since 2005. As a Chiropractor with experience, he is committed to providing individualized and customized care based on each patient's specific needs.
In addition to providing full-spine and extremity care Dr. Nichols specializes in modern therapy protocols aimed at restoring abnormal spinal curves thereby providing long-term solutions for individuals with chronic headaches, migraines, TMJ disorder and neck pain. By combining the very best hands-on-techniques and state of the art physiotherapy procedures, Dr. Nichols is able to help you accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Dr. Nichols works with various providers in the Manhattan area, including dentists, orthodontists, primary care physicians and optometrists to ensure patients are receiving the most comprehensive treatment plans available.

Dr. Abby Moore is a graduate of both Kansas State University (Manhattan, KS) and Logan University (Chesterfield, MO).
She earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology from the former, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the later. The primary focus of her training at Logan consisted of Thompson technique, Diversified, Logan Basic, Flexion Distraction and Graston. While an undergraduate, Dr. Moore gained experience working as a chiropractic assistant in both rural and urban settings, including a then newly opened Nichols Chiropractic. Her skills as a practitioner were also honed treating local track clubs, collegiate athletes, and Olympic level hopefuls. She counts among her patients competitors from Lindenwood University, Missouri Baptist University and the University of Missouri.
One of the highlights of her career entailed working with some of the top chiropractors in the world at the 2011 Pan American games in Guadalajara, Mexico. She came home with the determination to earn her masters in sports rehabilitation, a credential she will soon attain.
Whether it has been serving as a medical assistant at road races and cycling events or treating a young child for an earache, Dr. Abby Moore believes in addressing her patient's needs holistically. Old or young, male or female. She passionately believes that our bodies were designed to achieve optimal health when they are treated as a whole.
Dr. Abby Moore is now welcoming patients, and looks forward to getting to know each one personally, designing specific treatment and rehabilitation plans for them as individuals.
Dr. Joseph Vannicola graduated from Cleveland University- Kansas City in 2017 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree, with training in multiple techniques. He uses Diversified, Thompson, Flexion Distraction, and Instrument Assisted adjusting techniques.
He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Kinesiology with emphasis in exercise physiology. Dr. Joe provides individual care and treatment plans for every patient who comes in. He utilizes adjusting along with soft tissue work and other physiotherapy modalities to assure the patient is getting the best treatment available. Dr. Joe looks to meet the patient at their level of health and help them meet and maintain their health goals. Outside of the office you may find him at K-State sporting events or at the dog park with his 2 year old black lab, Jaxon.
Dr. Valerie is committed to improving the health and wellness of the community. She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelors of Arts and Science in Medical Anthropology, and with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Valerie has in depth training in the cause, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, nerve and joint conditions. She practices chiropractic through full body adjustments and soft tissue techniques.
Her passion for women’s health has grown tremendously through her experience in practice. Dr. Valerie has a true appreciation for the female frame and an understanding that women’s health is beautifully different. Whether going through puberty, pregnancy or post-menopause, Dr. Valerie helps her patients ignite the innate ability of the body to balance and heal itself.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Valerie spending quality time with family and friends, taking dance/yoga classes, and drinking a good cup of coffee.
Dr. Brett Baxter received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland University in Kansas City in 2017, after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Friends University in 2013.
Dr. Baxter is a native of Park City, Kansas and is passionate about helping patients function at their optimum capacity. Choosing to be a chiropractor was his natural niche as he always “asks the next question” and enjoys the challenge of finding the root cause of disease, rather than just masking symptoms. His advanced chiropractic training spans several disciplines including: internal medicine, nutrition, epigenetics, McKenzie protocol-full spine (MDT), kinesiology taping, cupping and soft tissue manipulative therapy (FAKTR).
Due to Dr. Baxter’s extensive training in diagnosis and management of chronic health conditions, his primary focus is on the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid/adrenal dysfunction and others.
Dr. Baxter analyzes the human body as a whole, through specific biomechanical and biochemical testing. Specific functional movement screens and lab testing are utilized when clinically indicated in order to better understand each patient’s specific condition.
Dr. Baxter strives to meet each patient at their current level of health and provide conservative, effective treatment in order to maximize their health potential and provide the opportunity for a greater quality of life.
